Job description

1. Project Preparation Phase:

• Edit and modify drawings and documents to ensure data integrity.
• Review and prepare drawings and documentation as directed by the Construction Manager.
• Initiate and execute the engineering change process.

2. Project Construction Phase:

• Conduct daily inspections to ensure project quality.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce involved in the project.
• Manage and develop junior members of the setting out team depending on experience.
• Assist the Construction Manager / Site Agents with site records, method statements, and permits as appropriate.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Architecture or Civil Engineering graduates are a must.
• 7 to 10 years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years in managing site activities.
• Prior experience in a high-volume retail buildings environment is strongly preferred.
• Proficient in computer usage.
• Skilled in using 2D and 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks, as well as Microsoft Office, Primavera, or Microsoft Project.
• Ability to read, edit, modify, and understand construction plans.
• Good communication skills.
