Rawafid is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Site Construction Manager to oversee our large-scale Infrastructure Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project, specifically focused on SWRO (Sea Water Reverse Osmosis) desalination plants. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and execution of the construction activities on-site. Your extensive knowledge of desalination projects will be essential in managing the construction processes, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and environmental regulations while driving the project toward timely completion within budget. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, collaborate closely with subcontractors and suppliers, and engage with stakeholders at all levels to resolve any site-related issues. Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and supervise all site construction activities related to the SWRO desalination project.
- Ensure all construction processes comply with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the site team, including engineers, supervisors, and labor, while fostering a culture of safety and quality delivery.
- Coordinate with project management teams and stakeholders to refine project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Monitor progress on-site and ensure that construction milestones are achieved as per the project timeline.
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
- Resolve any site-related issues promptly and effectively, minimizing disruptions to the construction process.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Min. 7-10 years of progressive experience in construction management, with a focus on large infrastructure projects, particularly SWRO desalination plants.
- Proven experience managing complex EPC projects from conception to completion.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and drive performance in a diverse team.
- Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety practices in line with industry standards.
- Effective communication skills for seamless interaction with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, along with MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of quality control systems and tools for construction project management is a plus.
- Certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar are advantageous.
