Qualifications and Abilities

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Control & Instrumentation, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering. Or a Diploma with 2-3 years of experience in airport operations or related BHS disciplines.
• Strong technical background.
• Experience operating automated systems.
• Experience leading baggage operations.
• Supervision and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily flight allocation updates for departures and arrivals.
• Check daily flight schedules and update operational plans accordingly.
• Analyze and monitor monthly flight schedules and update strategic plans.
• Track and trace baggage accurately and inform about flight baggage status.
• Monitor and minimize baggage delays and improve turnaround times.
• Coordinate with TOCC representatives and BHS control room.
• Communicate with stakeholders as needed.
• Report system and BHS operation status to the Shift Leader per SLAs.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, SLAs, and KPIs.
• Utilize BHS applications, software, databases, scripts, and tools appropriately.
• Investigate urgent inquiries with relevant parties.
• Participate in training and development opportunities.
• Adhere to Vanderlande policies and procedures.
• Operate BHS scheduling workstations as required.
