The Senior Sales Manager oversees and implements all sales activities for a specific area of responsibility or market segment(s), including developing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, and implementing sales strategies. Responsible for targeting new commercial, corporate, and meetings and events business. Additionally, staff and direct a sales team, providing leadership to achieve maximum profitability and growth aligned with the company’s vision and values.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop sales strategies to meet company sales goals and profitability targets.
- Prepare action plans for individuals and teams to effectively search for sales leads and prospects.
- Identify opportunities and grow new business from large multinational, local, and regional organizations to ensure a diverse mix of events.
- Manage and develop the sales team, setting objectives to achieve pre-set targets based on the sales plan.
- Identify emerging markets and continuously expand the leads pipeline.
- Manage the Sales Account Manager to ensure timely response, proactive targeting, and relationship management of opportunities.
- Develop and review an annual sales strategy considering market trends and business environment.
- Forecast future sales accurately and adapt sales plans to market shifts.
- Provide timely, competitive pricing on prospect applications, maintaining maximum profit margins.
- Ensure contracts are accurately prepared, reflect proposals, and are signed and returned in a timely manner.
- Develop a robust CRM process to build and record key client relationships and report monthly.
- Maximize sales opportunities through account research and upselling techniques.
- Ensure compliance with business conduct guidelines and organizational processes.
- Maintain high levels of client satisfaction through regular contact with clients in the market area.

Job Experience
- Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience, including 5 years in a supervisory role, and 2 years GCC experience is a plus.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Sales and Marketing or related field.
