Role Overview

The Senior Sales Manager supports the Sales Team through analysis and reporting of results and trends, recommends sales approaches to expand and add business, and develops the skills and culture of the Sales Team Members.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze local market trends and develop new business leads
• Maximize all revenue opportunities
• Contribute to the hotel's selling strategy and ensure departmental adherence
• Understand the competitive marketplace and implement strategies to stay ahead
• Negotiate room rates/packages with corporate clients
• Develop and support the Sales Team to maintain high standards and proactive selling
• Implement creative local marketing channels, including social media
• Identify potential opportunities within current strategies
• Coordinate with other departments as needed
• Participate in sales events as required
• Report weekly/monthly on appointments, calls, and business leads
• Respond promptly to customer queries
