Senior Sales Engineer

Job Summary:

Primary purpose of the job is to lead business sales activities for Emerson Measurement Solutions Business Unit with focus on western Area (Yanbu, Jeddah, Red Sea, NEOM Area). This position is intended to drive sales for all kind of business plant spares, Brown field projects and green field projects and penetrate the relevant customers across Saudi.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

1. The primary responsibility will be to Develop and grow business in Downstream oil & Gas market, Refineries, Petrochemicals, and other diversified process industries.
2. Lead sales, project pursuit and business development initiatives to meet or exceed orders target.
3. Develop, own and implement the relevant Industry Strategic Plan Key Initiatives.
4. Improve customers happiness by understanding, communicating and driving solutions to their needs.
5. Collaborate with and support with wider Saudi Team, work closely with Emerson & LBP proposal generation groups to ensure all offers reflect customer needs, competitively priced and are submitted on time. All proposals, leads, opportunities are in CRM with updated customers data.
6. Work in close collaboration and support project execution and service teams to improve customer happiness and complete projects within schedule and budget.
7. Accept and promote "Get right the first time" attitude.
8. Keep up to date with developments, industries trends and market conditions.
9. Participate in developing and performing sales strategies for assigned territory & Industry.
10. Maintain an accurate project pursuit list and provide monthly reports and forecasts to Western Province Sales Manager and Sales Director.
11. Monthly orders forecast including getting clean order from customer and work with Customer Care take to book it.
12. Prepare and present marketing forecasts, pricing surveys, competitor intelligence.
13. Work closely with other Emerson Business Units to improve pull-through content and identify white spaces.
14. Strengthen existing and develop new customer relationships, and develop relationships with third party personnel who may influence and make buying decisions.
15. Fulfill any other reasonable duties as required.
16. Ensure adherence to local and international Emerson trade compliance procedures in connection with all transactions and business practices.
17. Enforce to Health, Safety & Environment policies as laid by the organization.

Who you are?

1. Coordination and negotiation skills.
2. Business degree or equivalent experience is an advantage.

1. Engineering degree or relevant work experience.
2. A confirmed experience within the process control industry.
