Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for a Senior Road Safety Design Manager to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of road safety measures throughout our major development projects. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring that all road infrastructures meet the highest safety standards, contributing to the overall vision of creating a safe and accessible world-class entertainment destination.
Responsibilities
- Manage roads projects assigned by development.
- Manage parking projects assigned by development (e.g., park & ride, temporary parking, parking structures).
- Manage all internal and external governance interactions, including authority or government agency interactions required for approvals and stakeholder engagement.
- Manage activities such as consultant procurement, management, contract management, committee presentations, and gateway approvals.
- Prepare for opening and operational readiness scenarios specific to transport modes.
- Prepare impact assessments considering changes or other factors affecting cost, time, and quality.
- Support other job families as necessary.
- Oversee the adoption process for roads, parking, bridges, etc., systems to National Champions, the Private Sector, or Master Developer Operations.
- Manage the Road Safety Management System, including the adoption of the Safe System Approach.
- Support planning, road safety audits, IRAP assessments, design review, and project development for master developers.
- Manage the selection and review of road safety consultants, monitor their performance, and update as necessary.
- Assist in producing road safety policies to support Qiddiya's City Value Proposition and Mobility targets.
- Review submissions to ensure road safety strategies are properly managed.
- Manage road safety elements within the City Framework reports, guidelines, codes, standards, and plans to ensure consistency and improvements.
- Support onsite road safety management at city and district levels, including temporary traffic management plans.
- Assist with crash prediction, reporting, investigation, and data collection.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- Master’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in road safety design, traffic engineering, or related areas.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or related certification preferred; knowledge of Road Safety Audit and iRAP is advantageous.
