Job Description:
Parsons is seeking an experienced Senior Risk Manager to join our team. In this role, you will manage the Transport Sector Risk Assessment Plan and oversee its execution.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Develop and implement the program risk management plans.
- Create standard operating procedures for risk management to ensure operational consistency across the program.
- Provide outreach, coaching, and guidance on risk management activities concerning daily work scope.
- Lead partnerships with key stakeholders and organizations impacted by the program.
- Oversee all risk management activities within our team.
- Manage risk assessments for external and third-party approvals.
- Collaborate with QIC and delivery partners for integrated risk management approaches, including authorities and interested parties.
- Report risk issues to the Senior Controls & Reporting Director, and develop recommendations and mitigation strategies.
- Assign work, oversee progress, and ensure completion of tasks.
- Interview and select personnel as needed.
- Maintain clear work standards and goals, provide training, conduct performance evaluations, and address employee concerns.
- Ensure compliance with corporate, contractual, ethical, and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
- Perform additional responsibilities as appropriate.
What You Have:
- 4-year degree in a technical or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in risk management.
Desired Skills:
- Proven leadership and management capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills, both internally and externally.
- Ability to work effectively in teams, follow through on tasks, and communicate complex information clearly.
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work under time constraints.
- Strong understanding of risk management in complex environments, preferably within the KSA sector.
- Experience working in a matrix organization with the ability to influence senior management.
- Excellent organizational and follow-through skills.
- Good business judgment and technical skills.
