The project:

This is an opportunity to work on a large luxury - use development in Riyadh, KSA. Mace is providing project management consultancy services.

The senior reporting manager is responsible for leading reporting within the project controls function across a complex programme, ensuring accurate, timely, and insightful reporting to internal and external stakeholders. This role plays a critical part in supporting programme delivery through effective data management, risk reporting, change tracking, and performance analysis.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Develop and maintain tools/forms to collect programme status from stakeholders.
  • Manage production, validation, and distribution of regular and ad-hoc reports.
  • Establish and oversee timelines for report submissions and reviews.
  • Consolidate, review, and issue dashboards; escalate risks/issues as needed.
  • Define dashboard requirements and ensure delivery aligns with user needs.
  • Implement consistent reporting procedures and conduct quality reviews.
  • Use SharePoint, PowerBI, PMIS, and data modelling to ensure traceable, reliable insights.
  • Support cost, schedule, change, risk, and performance reporting processes.
  • Facilitate reviews, ensure transparent reporting, and respond professionally.
  • Identify process enhancements and stay updated on best practices and tools.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s in engineering or related field; PMP certified; active membership or pursuit of professional bodies (e.g., RICS, APM).
  • Extensive experience in consultancy/construction sectors with strong leadership across large teams.
  • Skilled in cost, schedule, change, and risk management; familiar with reporting frameworks and methodologies.
  • Strong data interpretation, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills; high emotional intelligence.
  • Proven ability to mentor, foster positive culture, and implement effective processes and behavioural values.
