Job Purpose

As part of our continued commitment in investing in the best technologies within information technology, we are looking for a well rounded Release Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure and Operations department. The Release Engineer will play a key role in managing and automating the software release processes, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of software releases while maintaining quality and reliability.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities

• Develop and maintain release management processes and procedures to facilitate the planning, scheduling, and execution of software releases across development, testing, and production environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, quality assurance, infrastructure, and operations teams, to coordinate release activities and ensure alignment with business requirements and objectives.
• Manage release artifacts, including source code, binaries, configuration files, and documentation, and ensure accurate versioning, tracking, and traceability throughout the release lifecycle.
• Provide technical expertise and support for release-related issues and incidents, troubleshooting deployment failures, and implementing corrective actions to minimize service disruptions and ensure business continuity.
