Role Overview: The Senior Registrar - Dermatology is responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate, and comprehensive dermatology care to patients through remote telehealth services and physical clinics. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and developing personalized treatment plans for patients, enhancing patient access to dermatological services and ensuring high-quality clinical care.
Responsibilities:
Patient Assessment and Diagnosis: Deliver high-quality dermatological care to patients. Conduct thorough history and physical examination and evaluations of patients with dermatological issues. Provide comprehensive dermatological assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment planning for patients through secure telehealth platforms and in-person care.
Treatment Planning and Medication Management: Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients, including prescribing and monitoring dermatological medications. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, utilizing remote patient monitoring technologies and data analytics.
Patient Education and Counseling: Provide patient education and counseling on skin health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies. Engage patients in shared decision-making and empower them to be active participants in their care.
Clinical Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive and accurate electronic medical records, ensuring timely documentation of all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions.
Skin Health Awareness and Education: Participate in the development and implementation of health initiatives, including patient education materials and telehealth program expansion.
Clinical Mentorship and Education: Engage in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with advancements in digital skin health technologies.
