Gleeds in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has an exciting opportunity, supporting an iconic program in the region. We are seeking an MRICS qualified Quantity Surveying and Cost Management professional, who wants to develop their career in a personable and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Delivering pre and post contract cost management commissions
  • Managing projects to deliver high quality services and deliverables in accordance with the Gleeds procedures.
  • Positively engaging with Clients and developing, growing and maintaining Client relationships.
  • Delivering high quality services and ensuring that cost management deliverables meet Clients’ requirements.
  • Preparing and presenting order of cost estimates
  • Advising on and implementing procurement strategies.
  • Preparing tender documentation and managing the tender process, including designing tender marking schemes.
  • Valuing completed work and arranging for payments.
  • Settling final accounts.
  • Providing senior technical advice on legal and contractual issues relating to construction projects.
  • Administrating contracts as Contract Administrator or Employer’s Agent.
  • Producing and presenting reports to Clients.
  • Advising Directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or that might arise, on projects
Who we’re looking for:
Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills
  • MRICS Chartered
  • 15+ years post graduate demonstrable experience in all aspects of quantity surveying
  • 3+ years’ experience in Saudi Arabia
  • 3+ years’ experience with a consultancy organization
  • Experience of building projects, hospitality and education
  • Sound knowledge and practical experience of cost estimating and planning.
  • Practical knowledge of construction procurement strategies, including tendering and contract strategies.
  • Clear and effective communication skills - both oral and written
  • Ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements readily
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Arabic language skills, native preferred
Qualifications
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying
  • MRICS or equivalent chartered status
  • Native English level written and oral skills
  • Arabic desirable
  • Transferable Iqama
