Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, monitor, and control project budgets for Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) works.
Oversee the procurement process for E&I subcontractors and suppliers, including preparation of tender documentation and evaluation.
Manage subcontractor packages, including measurement, valuation, and agreement of variations and final accounts.
Monitor project costs against budgets and forecasts, identify and report any variances.
Review and administer contract terms and conditions, ensuring compliance and managing risk.
Prepare monthly commercial reports, cost-value reconciliations (CVRs), and cash flow forecasts.
Evaluate and negotiate change orders and claims in a timely and accurate manner.
Support in contract dispute resolution and claims management, providing supporting documentation and evidence.
Liaise with site managers, engineers, planners, and the finance team to gather relevant data and ensure alignment on commercial goals.
Maintain and update project cost reports and commercial registers.
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures and project-specific governance.
Bachelor s degree in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Experience in quantity surveying in E&I works on construction or industrial projects.
Proven track record on large-scale site-based construction projects (e.g., oil & gas, power plants, industrial facilities, etc.).
Strong understanding of construction and MEP industry standards and practices.
