Job Description

As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for monitoring and inspecting ongoing construction activities to ensure all works conform to approved specifications, international codes, and quality standards. You will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of the Quality Management System (QMS) and supporting project success across civil, structural, MEP, and finishing works.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct daily site inspections of civil, structural, MEP, and architectural works in accordance with approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
2. Ensure materials and workmanship meet all specified requirements and international standards.
3. Raise and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and support corrective and preventive actions.
4. Review test results, calibration certificates, and verify material submittals.
5. Maintain comprehensive QA/QC documentation and filing systems.
6. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project QA/QC teams to resolve quality issues.
7. Participate in quality audits, assist with root cause analysis, and promote continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
2. At least 5 years of QA/QC experience in large-scale infrastructure or airport construction projects.
3. Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and relevant construction codes (ACI, ASTM, BS, etc.).
4. Proficiency with quality tools such as ITPs, checklists, and audit procedures.
5. Strong documentation, observation, and communication skills.
6. QA/QC certifications like CSWIP or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor are advantageous.
7. Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
