The opportunity

To build and grow the delivery of world-class Quality and drive improvements.

How you’ll make an impact
  1. You will arrange and perform activities on the shop floor related to quality checking of products, material incoming quality, production, and testing processes.
  2. You will be responsible for process development, procedures, templates, and work instructions related to incoming quality and supplier quality.
  3. You will collaborate with and empower all departments for deviation detection, nonconformance follow-ups, root cause analysis, correction measures implementation, and continuous improvement.
  4. You will attend and participate in internal/external audits (ISO, Hitachi Energy, Customer) and work with all departments to close all findings and implement improvements.
  5. You will participate in organizational changes, lean culture initiatives, decision-making, cross-functional collaboration, driving change, and influencing continuous improvement, time management, and implementation within the Business Unit.
  6. You will implement and monitor the quality strategy, handle complaints, and manage processes using predefined quality KPIs, including failure analysis reports using 8D templates or similar tools.
  7. You will ensure a safe environment by implementing HSE requirements, monitor supplier quality performance, material management, and follow-up on corrective actions related to NCRs and CCRPs.
  8. You will carry out any additional tasks assigned by management necessary to fulfill the job requirements.
  9. You will uphold Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your actions and caring for colleagues and the business.
Your background
  1. A bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred).
  2. Minimum 2-3 years of experience.
  3. Knowledge of Quality Control/Quality Assurance and GIS products.
  4. Hands-on inspection of materials and experience with QMS & internal quality auditing.
  5. Proficiency in quality tools, RCA, Lean Six Sigma.
  6. Proficiency in both spoken and written English.
