Job summary

Nabors Industries Ltd is seeking a seasoned QA/QC supervisor to oversee fabrication, assembly, inspection, repair, refurbishment and FAT of drilling equipment including Top Drive Catwalk and Casing Drive Systems.

You will review WPS/PQR, material certificates, and NDT results, coordinate NCRs, supplier inspections, first article tests, and maintain calibration of inspection equipment. You will drive audits and continuous improvement within QMS and API Q1 framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in mechanical/welding/manufacturing disciplines.
• Relevant welding inspection, NDT, quality management, or API-related certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of API Q1, API specifications, AWS/ASME requirements, and ISO 9001 principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise QA/QC activities across fabrication, assembly, inspection, repair, refurbishment, and FAT.
• Review WPS/PQR, material certificates, NDT reports, and shop paperwork for conformance.
• Coordinate NCR investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Lead supplier inspections, surveillance, and first article inspections.
• Ensure measuring and test equipment is calibrated and maintained.
• Prepare quality records and support API audits and internal audits.
• Provide QA/QC support for repairs, aftermarket operations, and field activities.
