We are seeking an accomplished Senior Mechanical Project Manager to provide executive leadership, technical governance, and strategic direction across mechanical works for a major construction development. This high‑impact role requires strong commercial insight, deep site delivery experience, and the ability to influence decision‑making at senior leadership and board levels.

Responsibilities
  • Provide overall executive leadership and strategic direction for all mechanical works across multiple project packages.
  • Approve mechanical design strategies, standards, and deviations, ensuring alignment with project vision and regulatory requirements.
  • Influence senior stakeholders, provide clear recommendations, and support decision‑making at board and C‑suite level.
  • Oversee the mechanical scope across several packages, ensuring alignment with the master program, budget, and project milestones.
  • Direct and oversee mechanical construction delivery to ensure quality, safety, compliance, and schedule performance.
  • Lead technical reviews of major variations, claims, contractual strategies, and associated mitigation measures.
  • Support procurement, packaging, and contracting strategies for mechanical works.
  • Ensure all mechanical systems meet performance requirements and achieve readiness for opening.
  • Provide leadership during testing, commissioning, systems integration, and final asset handover.
  • Report mechanical performance, risks, and key decisions to senior leadership and relevant boards.
  • Drive effective risk management practices and ensure technical governance across the delivery cycle.
Qualifications
  • BSc in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • 15+ years of experience in mechanical project management on major construction projects.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification.
  • Strong commercial and contractual background with experience managing large, complex packages.
  • Extensive site delivery experience, including commissioning leadership.
  • Experience reporting to boards / C‑suite stakeholders.
  • Prior involvement in giga projects, theme parks, motorsport facilities, or large mixed‑use developments in KSA / GCC is highly desirable.
