The project

This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure. Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

You’ll be responsible for:
  • Leads and promotes a strong culture of health, safety, wellbeing, and security, empowering teams to follow established procedures and objectives, while conducting safety investigations, inspections, and audits.
  • Integrates a customer-first approach into all aspects of project planning and delivery, ensuring alignment with Customer Experience strategies and values.
  • Oversees site logistics planning and coordination, including access routes, material delivery schedules, workforce transportation, temporary works, and construction traffic management, ensuring minimal disruption and efficient operations.
  • Acts as the central liaison for logistics, aligning project-specific needs with broader district and organizational logistics frameworks, and tracking key performance indicators to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Provides inclusive leadership and talent development, supporting succession planning, recruitment strategies, and mentoring across the team to foster growth and retention.
  • Manages project execution and delivery, collaborating with internal stakeholders, contractors, and consultants to ensure alignment with time, cost, quality, and safety objectives.
  • Implements robust project management practices, including risk and change management, procurement strategy, and continuous improvement through standardized tools and processes.
  • Supports commercial and operational excellence, ensuring contractual compliance, cost control, and active participation in project activities such as design reviews, reporting, claims negotiations, and post-project evaluations.
You’ll need to have:
  • Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and relevant work experience working on high valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as Civil Engineering, Project Management, Risk Management, Construction Management.
  • Higher National Diploma: Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in project management, leading complex projects from initiation to completion within a contracting or construction environment.
