Job description

Job Description:
  • Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for projects and adhering to deadlines to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
  • Delegating tasks on the project to departments (Design, Technical, Procurement, Construction) best positioned to complete.
  • Maintaining the project procedure and ensuring all team members follow it.
  • Managing all internal communication and project sharing information between departments.
  • Handling management of project changes internally and with stakeholders.
  • Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for project progression.
  • Communicating with clients & PMO Head to keep the project aligned with goals.
  • Serving as a point of contact for functional team members across units to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
  • Performing quality control throughout project development to maintain standards.
  • Adjusting schedules and targets as project needs or financing change.
  • Hosting weekly project meetings with team and managers.
  • Providing feedback, advice, updates, and encouragement to team members.
  • Managing deadlines and motivating the team to ensure timeliness.
  • Coordinating with outsourcing or third-party vendors as needed.
  • Ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Assisting in defining project scope and objectives with relevant stakeholders.
  • Planning and ensuring resource availability and allocation.
  • Developing and updating detailed project plans to monitor progress.
  • Managing changes to scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate techniques.
  • Communicating project changes to all stakeholders.
  • Measuring performance with project management tools and techniques.
  • Reporting and escalating issues to management as needed.
  • Managing relationships and communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Performing risk management to minimize potential risks.
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, reviewing, and managing submissions.
  • Signing all required documents for project deliverables by stakeholders.
  • Meeting with clients to clarify project requirements.
  • Meeting budget objectives and adjusting project constraints based on financial analysis.
  • Developing comprehensive project plans for sharing with clients and staff.
  • Attending training as required to maintain proficiency.
  • Carrying out tasks assigned by PMO Head that are similar to project management tasks.
  • Providing data, reports, and dashboards for the PMO.

Certificates Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architectural or Engineering fields with project management training.
  • Proficiency in English & Arabic (written and spoken).

Experience Required:

  • 10+ years of practical project management experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Projects Experience:

  • Proficiency in SharePoint, ProArc, and other document management tools.
  • Skilled in Adobe and Microsoft Suite.
  • Experience in Management, Process Improvement, Planning, Leadership, Negotiation, Communication, Problem Solving, Analytical Skills, and Technical Skills.
