JASARA PMC is looking for a Senior Project Manager - Design - Technical - ICT & Smart Tech to join our innovative team. This role is critical in overseeing the design and implementation of cutting-edge ICT and smart technology solutions within our infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that these technological elements are seamlessly integrated into our overall project designs while adhering to industry standards and client requirements.

As the Senior Technical Manager - Design, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the planning, design, and delivery of projects in Smart Technology, ICT, and Data Centres. You will manage technical design reviews from concept to execution, ensuring compliance with standards and client requirements. The ideal candidate will bring leadership and technical expertise, driving innovative solutions to meet project goals on time and within budget while maintaining high quality standards.

Responsibilities

7. Coordinate with consultants to adhere to project timelines and quality standards.
8. Lead technical design reviews to ensure compliance with project requirements, standards, and innovation.
9. Ensure design deliverables meet contractual and program requirements.

11. Coordinate interfaces between design elements for seamless project progression.
12. Monitor project progress, resolve design challenges, and report issues promptly.
13. Maintain meticulous project documentation including design records and approvals.
14. Chair meetings with clients and stakeholders, capturing minutes and action items.
15. Manage design safety and quality assurance processes.
16. Lead design sign-off processes with consultants and subcontractors.
17. Ensure designs meet cost, system, and operational plans.
18. Assist in assessing and tracking costs related to design changes.
19. Oversee the production of work breakdown structures aligned with project phases.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in ICT & Smart Technologies and Data Centres.
2. Master's degree or relevant postgraduate qualifications are advantageous.
3. Professional registration (e.g., Chartered Engineer) is required.
4. PMI-PMP certification is a plus.
5. Minimum of 15 years' relevant experience in ICT, Smart Technologies, and Data Centres project design and delivery.
6. Proven experience with large-scale Data Centres and ICT infrastructure projects.
7. Deep knowledge of smart systems, data centre design, and ICT networks.
8. Understanding of cybersecurity and compliance standards.
9. Experience in managing complex design projects within private or government sectors.
10. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
11. Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
12. Proficiency with engineering design software and standards.
13. Knowledge of local and industry standards, codes, and regulations.
14. Experience in the Middle East or similar regions is advantageous.
