Job description

JASARA PMC - Jacobs JV is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager with a specialization in Delivery for Theme Park projects. As a Senior Project Manager - Delivery at JASARA PMC, you will be responsible for leading and managing the design aspects of theme park or large mixed-use projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with design teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure the successful delivery of innovative and immersive theme park experiences.

The Senior Project Director in the Delivery Department for theme park is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of large-scale theme park projects from concept (late stage) to completion. This role requires coordination across multiple departments, including design, engineering, procurement, and construction, ensuring the delivery of high-quality themed entertainment spaces that meet stakeholder expectations. The SPM Interiors is the primary point of contact for all delivery-related activities, managing timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams to ensure the park opens on time and within scope expectation and quality markers across all interiors supported by the respective SPM Lands respectively.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of theme park construction projects, ensuring they meet all technical, operational, and safety standards over all interiors with a focus on overall coordination by interior as a discipline (rather than by land).
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, aligning deliverables with key milestones per all interiors.
  • Oversee multiple construction teams, managing subcontractors, engineers, architects, and other relevant professionals.
  • Ensure that all project phases are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
  • Work with procurement teams to optimize resources, negotiate contracts, and manage suppliers.
  • Report on financial progress and forecast upcoming expenses, ensuring stakeholders are informed of potential risks or cost overruns.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between project teams, senior management, and external stakeholders, including clients and government bodies.
  • Identify and mitigate risks that could impact project delivery, including construction delays, material shortages, and regulatory challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and legal standards, including permits and inspections.
  • Develop contingency plans to address potential project disruptions.
  • Oversee and guide project managers, site supervisors, and other team members, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
  • Foster a culture of safety, innovation, and excellence within the project delivery teams.
Requirements

  • Bsc project Management or Bsc interior design and construction management or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in project management, with a focus on theme park design and large mixed-use projects.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of theme park design principles, trends, and best practices.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and creative specialists.
  • Proficiency in design software and tools, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, and industry standards for theme park design.
