Job description

We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to be based in Saudi Arabia.

Principle Accountabilities
  1. Manage and co-ordinate all aspects of the design and construction of a SAR 400m new build barracks.
  2. Primary interface with client’s design consultant and building contractor.
  3. Assistance with other projects, as directed by the Programme Manager.
  4. Revision of Project Management Plan, as required.
Technical Requirements - Essential
  1. Degree qualified in construction related discipline.
  2. Chartered status (or equivalent).
  3. Candidate must be Western educated.
  4. Minimum of 10 years of post graduate professional experience of which 2 will have been in a similar senior position.
  5. Commercial awareness.
  6. Working knowledge of Health & Safety best practices.
  7. Working knowledge of Microsoft Project software.
  8. Administrative skills.
  9. Delegation skills.
Technical Requirements - Desirable
  1. Experience in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East.
  2. Experience of design management.
  3. Experience of PCM and Predict Software.
Behavioural Requirements - Essential
  1. Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
  2. Proactive and able to drive a project forward.
  3. Ability to influence outcomes.
  4. Ability to work well with a team.
  5. Western candidate preferred.
  6. Ability to distribute work effectively.
