Role


The Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing the full project lifecycle from initiation to close-out, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with client standards. This role involves cross-functional collaboration, risk and issue management, progress tracking, and stakeholder communication. The Project Manager also oversees resource planning, prepares detailed project plans and reports, and supports leadership with clear, data-driven updates to ensure successful project execution and alignment with strategic objectives.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Continuously monitor projects to ensure they meet standards, adhere to budgets, and meet deadlines.
  2. Collaborate with all departments and units to manage and prioritize project delivery.
  3. Ensure team members carry out their tasks efficiently while upholding client standards.
  4. Monitor projects and report status to management regularly.
  5. Create and maintain a risk register to manage potential risks.
  6. Manage the timely resolution of issues, including escalation outside the project team's scope.
  7. Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project plans, action items, and major milestones.
  8. Act as the single point of contact for project status.
  9. Address problems through risk management and contingency planning, presenting solutions to management.
  10. Perform additional duties as requested by the Head of Communication Planning.
  11. Manage overall implementation and track program progress.
  12. Manage internal and external communication related to project status.
  13. Ensure stakeholder alignment.
  14. Manage ongoing issue resolution.
  15. Identify and manage risks.
  16. Prepare leadership presentation storylines, align with program leaders, and collect slides from workstreams.
  17. Check budgets, track savings and expenses.
  18. Keep track of resource schedules.
  19. Prepare project plans at the start of each project, detailing activities and milestones.
  20. Provide updates on progress, issues, and risks for each initiative.
  21. Create shared file repositories with access and version control.
  22. Monitor resource time and pre-plan time off and vacations.
  23. Prepare and track project budgets continuously.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience as a project manager in an agency setting.
  • Prior content writing experience.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organization and time management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge development skills.
  • Flexibility, resilience, solution-oriented, and creative thinking.
  • Service-oriented attitude, proactive, and information-seeking.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Must reside in Riyadh or be willing to relocate.
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed, within local regulations.
