About The Role

Kariera Group Recruitment Services is actively seeking a Project Manager responsible for coordinating and executing the successful, safe completion of construction on assigned projects, within schedule and budget, and in accordance with engineering specifications, drawings, and contract requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage all phases of the project, from Preliminary Engineering through Detailed Design, Fabrication, Integration, Installation, and Commissioning.
2. Set up the project team and all procedures necessary to manage projects technically and commercially.
3. Manage interfaces with clients and contractors.
4. Manage, motivate, and develop the project team, with specific attention to developing national staff.
5. Ensure the project team manages all technical and quality issues to deliver a quality product to clients that fulfills its purpose.
6. Develop strategies to deliver the project on time and within budget.
7. Ensure all facilities are fully functioning and all commercial issues are closed out successfully.
8. Manage a team of construction specialists responsible for construction, field engineering, quality assurance, craft supervision, administration, material control, and project controls.
9. Coordinate the preparation and issuance of reports on the construction status of projects.
10. Keep clients informed of daily activities on-site.
11. Understand Project Controls, Quality Assurance, and Field procurement.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline.
2. Strong Project Management Consultancy / EPC experience.
3. FEED experience is required.
4. Experience working on downstream projects related to LNG, gasoline, heating oil, synthetic rubber, plastics, lubricants, antifreeze, fertilizers, and pesticides.
5. Ability to work in international environments and adapt accordingly.
6. Commercially astute with good knowledge of contract management economics.
7. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to achieve results largely through influence.
8. Understanding of project financial drivers and management.
9. High level of initiative and personal drive.
