The opportunity

The role is to ensure a thorough understanding of objectives and develop property-specific operating strategies that meet required standards.

They will manage several operational contracts on behalf of the client, overseeing the implementation of approved initiatives and programs by coordinating the efforts of the FM team (e.g., direct reports, service providers, contractors, and building employees) to achieve goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Assisting in designing and delivering building and engineering projects or groups of projects to achieve high quality within specified timescales, budgets, and statutory requirements.
2. Providing electrical engineering design services.
3. Designing electrical engineering elements for new builds or refurbishments, specifying systems and performance criteria.
4. Specializing in HV/LV distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, power distribution, data installations, fire engineering, safety, security systems including alarms, access control, and CCTV.
5. Conducting modeling, simulation, feasibility studies, and contributing to whole life costing.
6. Managing engineers involved in projects or groups of projects.
7. Leading projects and producing relevant information.
8. Performing quality assurance on designs by others.
9. Participating in client meetings and design workshops.

About you

You hold a degree in electrical engineering and are a member of a professional body. You have extensive experience as an electrical engineer, including delivering projects, testing, commissioning, and project close-out. You must be an Arabic speaker and a practicing Muslim, due to the nature of this project.

You are digitally savvy, capable of building lasting client relationships, and leading motivated teams. You have a construction or project management background and are eager to grow your career with Mace.
