Position Overview:

Oversee development and management of IT platforms, cloud services and internal tools. Work closely with the customer as well as third parties to align

dependencies with other platforms and ensure customer satisfaction and timeline.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Strategy and Vision

Define the technical product vision and roadmap for IT infrastructure, platforms, and services.

Align technical product goals with business objectives and engineering needs.

Anticipate and address scalability, reliability, and security requirements.

2. Platform and Infrastructure Management

Oversee development and management of IT platforms, cloud services, and internal tools.

Ensure platforms are scalable, resilient, and optimized for performance.

Evaluate and integrate new technologies and third-party tools when necessary.

3. Collaboration with Technical Teams

Work closely with DevOps, Infrastructure Engineers, IT Operations, and Software Developers.

Prioritize technical requirements and manage backlogs effectively.

Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.

4. Requirements Gathering and Technical Roadmap

Gather and document technical requirements from stakeholders and users.

Translate business needs into technical specifications.

Prioritize tasks using frameworks like RICE or MoSCoW.

5. Risk Management and Security Compliance

Identify and mitigate technical risks related to platform scalability, performance, and security.

Ensure compliance with security standards (e.g., ISO, SOC2, GDPR).

Proactively address downtime risks and system vulnerabilities.

6. Performance Monitoring and Optimization

Define and monitor KPIs for IT platforms and infrastructure performance.

Analyze metrics such as uptime, response times, and resource utilization.

Continuously optimize platform architecture for better efficiency and performance.

7. Stakeholder Communication

Act as the point of contact between technical teams, executive leadership, and end-users.

Provide regular updates on project status, challenges, and risks.

Manage stakeholder expectations effectively.

8. Continuous Improvement and Innovation

Drive a culture of continuous improvement in platform delivery and operations.

Research and implement emerging technologies (e.g., AI/ML tools, automation).

Encourage best practices in CI/CD pipelines and platform observability.

Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), and DevOps tools.

Knowledge of APIs, microservices architectures, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, Splunk).

Product Management Skills:

Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).

Proficiency in product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello).

Strong ability to prioritize features and manage product backlogs.
