JOB DESCRIPTIONS:


ABANA Enterprises Group Co. is seeking a skilled and dedicated Senior Procurement Specialist to join our team. The Senior Procurement Specialist will manage and oversee procurement processes, including strategic sourcing, supplier management, and ensuring compliance with company goals and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive procurement experience, strong negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics.


Duties/Core Responsibilities:


  1. Receive task force purchase requests from all business units.
  2. Verify all received purchase requests according to the Task Force Policy.
  3. Establish a team based on project needs.
  4. Verify that documents and purchase orders (PO) comply with project requirements.
  5. Ensure a complete documentation cycle before issuing POs.
  6. Issue POs for completed projects.
  7. Ensure timely delivery of goods and services to meet project requirements.
  8. Coordinate with Warehouse and Finance to close requests.
  9. Adhere to procurement ethics policies in all purchasing activities.
  10. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
  11. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships for collaboration and favorable terms.
  12. Conduct market analysis and research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and new suppliers.
  13. Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement processes.
  14. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Finance, Operations, and Legal to align procurement with business strategies.
  15. Provide guidance and support to junior procurement staff and team members.
  16. Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.
  17. Assist in developing and managing the procurement budget, ensuring effective resource allocation.
  18. Identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining quality and service levels.
  19. Prepare and update reports as required.
  20. Perform any other tasks as assigned.
