Job description

Job Title: Senior Procurement Specialist

Department: Procurement.

Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Job Type: Full-time.

Reports To: Procurement Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive B2B e-procurement policies and procedures governing the use of online portals for purchasing. This includes guidelines for vendor selection, order placement, and approval processes.
  • Establish clear guidelines for the team regarding access to and usage of approved B2B online portals.
  • Define procedures to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with company regulations when using online portals.
  • Develop workflows for the approval of online purchase requests and orders based on defined authorization levels.
  • Establish guidelines for managing payment methods and ensuring secure online transactions.
  • Create procedures for handling returns, exchanges, and resolving disputes with online vendors.
  • Implement a training program for relevant employees on the established B2B e-procurement policies and procedures through the training department.
  • Ensure all online procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and government regulations.
  • Conduct thorough searches and comparisons of goods and services available on various B2B online portals.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to optimize procurement costs through effective offers available on online portals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably with a focus on B2B e-procurement systems.
  • Strong knowledge of online procurement platforms and e-marketplaces.
  • Understanding of procurement regulations, data security standards, and audit requirements.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
