Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Review and study purchase requisitions.
  2. Approach potential and approved suppliers.
  3. Follow up to obtain quotations within the required time frame.
  4. Coordinate technical clarifications with Engineering and other stakeholders.
  5. Effectively negotiate with suppliers to secure the best price within budget.
  6. Ensure delivery times align with project schedules.
  7. Follow up with suppliers for post PO documentation and deliveries.
  8. Act as the focal point between internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  9. Resolve any quality issues during material inspections.
  10. Maintain and update the procurement status of assigned projects in real time.
  11. Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and company policies.
  12. Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely shipment from suppliers.
  13. Perform any other tasks assigned by management.
Desired Candidate Profile

Education & Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor of Degree in Engineering / Administration or Equivalent
  2. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the GCC market preferably Saudi Arabia.
  3. Proven experience in handling entire procurement processes for Aramco projects.
  4. Familiarity with Aramco approved suppliers and manufacturer.
  5. Strong negotiation skills.
  6. Excellent communication abilities.
  7. A professional procurement certification is preferred.
