Senior Planning Manager (EOI)

JASARA PMC is inviting expressions of interest (EOI) for the position of Senior Planning Manager. This role is crucial as we prepare for upcoming large-scale projects that will play a significant role in the development of NEOM and align with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030. The Senior Planning Manager will be responsible for leading the planning and scheduling efforts for these groundbreaking projects, ensuring that they are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget.

As part of our dynamic team, you will develop project schedules, monitor project performance, evaluate risks, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills who can foster collaboration across teams and drive the success of multiple projects.

Responsibilities

1. Draft, maintain, and manage project schedules and plans, including timelines and milestones
2. Conduct regular performance reviews and progress reports for senior management and stakeholders
3. Adopt risk management practices to identify and mitigate project risks
4. Collaborate with project managers, teams, and clients to ensure smooth project execution
5. Implement best practices in planning and scheduling aligned with industry standards
6. Support the continuous improvement of planning processes and methodologies within the organization

1. At least 20 years of experience in planning and scheduling, particularly in construction, engineering, or project management
2. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Advanced degrees are preferred
3. Strong knowledge of planning software including Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
4. Experience using Earned Value Management (EVM) and other project management methodologies
5. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
6. Proficient in analyzing project data to drive informed decisions
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment, leading teams toward successful outcomes
8. Previous experience working in the Middle East is advantageous
9. Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP) are a plus
10. Demonstrated ability to handle complex projects with multiple stakeholders effectively
