Job summary

KBR Engineering Inc is seeking a Sr. Piping Commissioning Engineer to be based in Abu Dhabi for a PMC project. The role focuses on leading onshore commissioning activities, guiding EPC contractors, and achieving successful startup handover to operations.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least 15 years in commissioning/operation readiness, with GCC experience preferred and strong knowledge of Completion Management Systems and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university with fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in commissioning/operation readiness.
• Experience in GCC region preferred, with at least five (5) years in a similar Oil & Gas or Petrochemical role.
• Familiar with Completion Management System, systemization, P&IDs, and international standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to EPC Contractors and Sub-Contractors on completion deliverables.
• Support Onshore Completion Lead and Sr. Commissioning Manager to verify mechanical completion and RFSU readiness.
• Monitor MC and pre-commissioning activities and ensure alignment with project schedule.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure handover compliance with contractual requirements.
