Job Description

Your Role: In this role, you will enhance the profitability of the pharmacy unit, oversee the team, maintain merchandising standards, and ensure adherence to QC and regulatory standards through effective administration and coordination with departments. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Compounding, dispensing, and advising on medications as prescribed, ensuring patient safety.
  2. Instructing customers on medication use, side effects, and precautions.
  3. Processing insurance prescriptions, ensuring accurate billing and compliance.
  4. Maintaining customer records, verifying prescriptions, and managing controlled substances.
  5. Ensuring compliance with QC, DSES standards, and legal regulations in all operations.
  6. Implementing SOPs, legal regulations, and company policies for operational excellence.
  7. Managing store operations, staff duty rosters, and workplace discipline.
  8. Promoting in-house brands and executing sales strategies to meet targets.
  9. Building relationships with healthcare providers to increase referrals.
  10. Conducting market analysis and organizing promotional campaigns.
  11. Supervising inventory, stock levels, and expiry management.
  12. Coordinating with purchase department for stock optimization.
  13. Training staff, monitoring adherence to protocols, and fostering a positive work environment.
  14. Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a safe, organized environment.
  15. Managing documentation and administrative tasks for seamless operations.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's in pharmacy or pharmacology.
  • 4-5 years of retail/operations experience, with proven pharma retail experience.
  • Certification or license from DHA, MOH, or HAAD/DOH.
  • Experience certificate from previous pharmacy (if applicable).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and pharmacy software applications.
