This role is ideal for someone with experience working for or with a global systems integrator, technology consulting firm, or a Fortune 1000 company. If you are a problem solver with broad technical skills and the ability to drive technical conversations, you will enjoy this role.

Working with partners requires influence and coordination with many stakeholders. You should be comfortable discussing storage and networking with the VP of Infrastructure, continuous deployment with the DevOps team, TCO with the CFO, and cloud strategy with the CIO. The ideal candidate will have deep technical skills in software architecture, information security, compliance, software deployment, and cloud computing, along with strong customer-facing skills at all organizational levels.

Key job responsibilities include:

1. Providing architectural guidance and recommendations to promote successful partner engagements worldwide.
2. Working closely with Partner Sales Managers, AWS Professional Services, and other Solutions Architects throughout customer engagement lifecycles.
3. Helping partners define approaches, tools, and target architectures for migrating customers or building cloud-native solutions on AWS.
4. Validating partner architectures, deliverables, SOWs, project plans, and assets to ensure successful customer engagement delivery.
5. Assisting solution providers in defining technical strategies to increase their offerings on AWS.
6. Sharing best practices within the Solution Architect community and externally.
7. Providing feedback from partners and customers to internal teams to influence AWS product and service development.

Up to 40% travel may be required.

In this role, you will architect enterprise-grade AWS solutions, manage technical relationships, develop and lead workshops, author white papers and blog posts, and respond to complex technical inquiries. You will help shape and deliver strategies to build awareness and broad adoption of AWS across the partner community.

Desired candidate profile includes:

1. 5+ years of experience in application and infrastructure design, implementation, or consulting.
2. Experience leading large-scale data center transformations or application migrations and modernization projects.
3. AWS Professional level certification.
4. Generative AI Practitioner certification or equivalent AI technical certification.
