About the job:

The Photo Editor is part of the Almosafer Activities Content team and is responsible for shooting and editing media assets for offline and online marketing. The Senior Officer Photo Editor will perform various design roles within the team.

Responsibilities:

1. Take photographs and video footage of sites, activities, and events in KSA for marketing channels.
2. Manipulate photos and create composite images in a natural and realistic manner.
3. Source, select, edit, and crop photos for web or print use.
4. Maintain excellent visual, communication, and organizational skills, adhering to deadlines and guidelines.
5. Manage a shared image database (imagebank), respecting departmental needs and channel tones, while following photography guidelines.
6. Coordinate with external suppliers, vendors, and internal departments such as retail, events marketing, public relations, visual design, and video.

Profile requirements:

1. Portfolio showcasing landscape and/or event photography.
2. Understanding of composition, lighting, and color.
3. Proficiency in Lightroom and Photoshop (Photoshop mastery required).
4. Skills in Photography and Videography.
5. Ability to composite images as needed.
6. Experience working with external vendors and suppliers.
7. Good aesthetic sense and attention to detail.
8. Ability to work within brand guidelines and respect existing design systems.
9. Detail-oriented with project prioritization skills, using tools like Trello.
10. Experience with e-commerce platforms is a plus.
11. Experience with interior design agencies is advantageous.
12. Effective communication and organizational skills.
13. Receptive to constructive criticism.
14. Working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.
15. Experience with animation and motion graphics is a plus.
16. Familiarity with Google Suite applications.
17. Experience working with large teams and remote setups is beneficial.
18. Degree or diploma in Arts or Design-related fields preferred.
19. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a photo editing role.
