Description

The Senior Officer I - Health, Safety, and Environment (AQC) at Six Flags Qiddiya City and Aquarabia will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and maintenance of health, safety, and environmental policies within the organization. This role will involve collaborating with various departments to ensure compliance with local and international regulations, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a culture of safety within the park.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage HSE policies, programs, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with management and employees to foster a proactive safety culture throughout the organization.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health, safety, and environmental matters.
  • Investigate incidents, prepare detailed reports, and monitor corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Analyze health and safety metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging regulations, and new technologies related to health, safety, and environmental management.
  • Prepare and present HSE reports and metrics to stakeholders and management.


Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in health, safety, and environment management, preferably in the entertainment or hospitality industry.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in conducting risk assessments and incident investigations.
  • Ability to develop and deliver training programs.

Certifications: NEBOSH, IOSH, or similar HSE certifications are highly desirable.
