Job description

We are looking for a talented, motivated Senior Network and Security Engineer (Medina Airport). The ideal candidate is a master of their skill-set but has the flexibility and openness to learn new things and adapt to changes.

Description:

A Senior Associate responsible for supporting Perimeter Services (Firewalls, Proxies), SDWAN, and Web Application Protection with a focus on Perimeter Services:

1. Lead in the maintenance and configuration of next-generation firewall infrastructure.
2. Perform, develop, implement, and maintain system security administration on designated technology platforms, including operating systems, applications, and network security devices, in accordance with organizational policies, standards, procedures, industry best practices, and vendor guidelines.
3. Conduct research on emerging products, services, protocols, and standards to support security enhancements and development efforts, keeping current with security alerts and issues; interact with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to obtain services and products.
4. Recommend, implement, and deliver technology solutions based on analysis and business requirements.
5. Participate in planning, hardware resource availability, and the development or introduction of new applications and services.
6. Create and maintain standards documentation for deployment, maintenance, monitoring, and daily operations.
7. Participate in the design and development of services and tools focusing on automation and orchestration.
8. Participate in device migrations and deployments.
9. Work with SME and Engineering teams to design and implement solutions.
10. Participate in resolving critical major incidents.
11. Engage in technical training and mentor other team members globally.
12. Possess Fortinet Firewall certifications and meet requirements outlined in qualification point 6.

Qualifications:

1. Preferred certifications: CCNP, CISSP, Palo Alto, PCNSA, or PCNSE.
2. Knowledge/Skills include troubleshooting complex network security incidents, building and managing firewalls, Palo Alto administration, security risk assessments, and familiarity with Azure NSG, Load Balancer, UDR configuration.
3. Understanding security operational standards and collaborating across a matrix organization.

Requirements:

1. Experience with security platform administration (firewalls, vulnerability scanners, IPS, DDoS, WAF, Mail Gateway, Endpoint, PAM, NAC, MFA, EDR, Sandbox, etc.).
2. Development of security policies and procedures.
3. Use of vulnerability assessment tools.
4. Managing security infrastructure including troubleshooting, upgrades, and maintenance.
5. Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and related technologies.
6. Experience with security technologies like IPsec, Next-Gen Firewall.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication, and strategic planning.
8. Experience in Web Application Protection, networking, and firewalls.
9. Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related fields.
10. Work experience: Minimum 5 years in Cyber Security and Network administration.
11. Language: English proficiency.
12. Level: Capable of explaining instructions, discussing issues, and writing reports.
