Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and immediately available Senior Mechanical Procurement Engineer to manage and oversee procurement activities for MEP systems and materials in large-scale building projects. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the GCC construction market and proven experience working with main contractors. Key Responsibilities: • Manage the procurement of mechanical and MEP materials in line with project requirements and deadlines • Prepare RFQs, evaluate vendor quotations, and ensure competitive pricing and quality • Coordinate with engineering and site teams to ensure timely material submittals and approvals • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with project specifications • Issue and manage purchase orders, delivery schedules, and vendor performance • Maintain and update procurement records and supplier databases • Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and procedures

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory) Experience: • 8 to 10 years of procurement experience in the GCC construction market • Strong background working with main contractors on building construction projects Skills Required: • In-depth knowledge of MEP materials and systems procurement • Excellent negotiation and communication skills • Experience in managing vendor approvals, material submittals, and PO workflows • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines • Proficient in procurement tools and MS Office
