Job description

Lead engineering activities related to rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, blowers, and gearboxes.

Develop specifications, datasheets, and technical bid evaluations for rotating machinery.

Review vendor documents and ensure alignment with project and client requirements (e.g., Aramco standards).

Provide technical support during procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases.

Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting for rotating equipment issues.

Interface with clients, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely delivery and quality.

Ensure compliance with international standards such as API, ASME, and ISO.

Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing across the team.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum 10 years of experience with a focus on rotating equipment in oil & gas or petrochemical industries.

Strong knowledge of international codes (API 610, 617, 618, 619, etc.).

Experience working with major clients (e.g., Aramco) in the GCC is preferred.

Proven ability to manage vendor coordination and site support.

Excellent communication, technical writing, and problem-solving skills.
