Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the design review and management of Baggage Handling Systems from inception to commissioning.
• Review the design and supervision of HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems, ensuring alignment with international and local codes and project requirements.
• Review, and evaluate mechanical calculations for HVAC, FLS and Plumbing disciplines.
• Conduct project design reviews of MEP systems from the concept design phase through construction and tender phases.
• Review and approve material submittals, ensuring they align with project specifications and adhere to delivery timelines.
• Supervise mechanical construction activities, monitoring the progress and quality of work.
• Reviewing contractor's and consultant’s prequalification requirements as well as supplier’s performance for Mechanical related items.
• Reviewing the contractor's communication pertaining to topics such as change orders, agreed-upon variation values, timeline extensions, and claims, and offering essential counsel to the project manager concerning these matters.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in airport development projects.
• Substantial experience in the design and supervision of HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems.
