This role supports TBU’s mission by fostering transparent communication, trust-based relationships, and alignment across multiple programs and interfaces. The Stakeholder Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that the BU’s strategic priorities are supported by the right partnerships and that stakeholder expectations are managed effectively across planning, delivery, and operational phases.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement TBU stakeholder engagement frameworks in alignment with QIC-wide strategies and Vision 2030 objectives.
2.Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholder interactions across transport-related initiatives, including infrastructure development, planning, and regulatory coordination.
3. Lead the preparation of communication materials, briefings, and stakeholder engagement plans that ensure clear messaging, alignment, and issue resolution.
4. Support cross-functional project teams in identifying stakeholder impacts and opportunities, while facilitating consistent messaging across the TBU.
5. Establish and maintain a stakeholder information database and ensure timely updates for ongoing engagement and risk mitigation.
6.Advise internal teams and leadership on key stakeholder expectations, political sensitivities, and reputational risks.
7.Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and government bodies to support joint planning and regulatory alignment.
8. Track and report on stakeholder engagement KPIs, feedback loops, and perception trends, escalating issues when needed.
9.Deliver training, workshops, and internal capability-building sessions to promote stakeholder engagement as a strategic function within the BU.
10.Continuously monitor the external environment (policy, regulatory, market) to anticipate stakeholder shifts and adapt engagement strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Affairs, Political Science, Urban Planning, or related field
Master’s degree (preferred) in Public Policy, Transport Planning, or Strategic Communications
Professional Certifications:
Relevant stakeholder management or public engagement certifications (e.g., IAP2) are advantageous
Project management certification (e.g., PMP or PRINCE2) is a plus
Years of Experience:
7+ years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in stakeholder management or engagement roles in transport, infrastructure, or government-related sectors
Proven experience working in cross-functional environments with diverse stakeholders
