Role summary

IQVIA is seeking a Senior Manager, Sales to drive new business and account growth with financial institutions—including PE/VC, asset management, family offices, investment banks, corporate finance teams and local pharma companies—focused on the Healthcare & Life Sciences (HLS) sector. You will own the full commercial cycle for IQVIA services mainly in consulting and data-driven solutions: commercial due diligence, market/asset scans, RWE & data assets, forecasting & valuation analytics, HEOR/market access, performance improvement/PMO, and technology platforms.

What you’ll do
  • Own a territory & book of business across KSA; create and execute account plans with clear revenue targets and pipeline milestones.
  • Prospect & originate: identify opportunities (buy-side/sell-side DD, portfolio value-creation, carve-outs, growth strategy, pricing/market access, RWE, digital health).
  • Solution selling: diagnose client needs, shape problem statements, and assemble the right IQVIA offerings (Consulting, Data, Technology, RWE, HEOR, Syndicated, Custom Analytics, Market research, Patient engagement solutions).
  • Deal leadership: run collaborative end-to-end pursuits with cross functional team—qualification, solution design, scoping, proposals, contracting, and handover to delivery.
  • Executive relationships: build trusted relationships with Partners/MDs, investment directors, and portfolio C-suites; orchestrate exec briefings and thought-leadership sessions.
  • Pipeline hygiene & forecasting: maintain CRM discipline (stages, probabilities, next actions); deliver accurate monthly/quarterly forecasts.
  • Partner internally: collaborate with services Principals/Engagement Managers, Centers of Excellence teams, and Global FI practice.
  • Thought leadership: leverage IQVIA data to craft relevant viewpoints (e.g., subsector theses, therapeutic area heatmaps, market models).
  • Governance & compliance: follow IQVIA commercial policies, information security, and ethics/anti-bribery standards.
  • Post-sale growth: drive expansion and renewals; identify cross-sell into data subscriptions, platforms, and managed services.
What you’ve done
  • 7–12 years in Life science consulting/analytics or investment-adjacent roles, with 3+ years in front-line sales or deal origination to FIs (PE/VC/AM/IB) in the GCC mainly KSA market.
  • Proven quota attainment selling consulting projects (e.g., CDD/strategy/PMO), data assets (claims, sales audits, RWE), and/or analytics/technology solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Life science value chain (biopharma, medtech, providers, payers, distributors) and FI deal cycles (screening → DD → value-creation → exit).
  • Comfortable crafting commercial models, high-level TAM sizing and case scopes.
  • Executive presence; confident running board-level discussions and partnering with senior investors.
  • CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce), with structured pipeline management.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MSc, PharmD/MD) a plus.
  • English required; Arabic strongly preferred.
  • Travel 30–50%.
