Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a talented Senior Manager - Risk Management to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for risk planning, qualitative & quantitative risk assessments, updating the risk register, developing mitigation strategies, and preparing reports and presentations for various levels. You will facilitate risk workshops with project stakeholders to identify and prioritize risks. A thorough knowledge of Risk Assessment processes and tools is essential. Experience in stadium or large public venue projects is strongly preferred due to their specialized and complex nature.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Facilitate Risk Workshops throughout the project lifecycle.
  2. Conduct complex statistical, qualitative, and quantitative risk analyses using risk software.
  3. Monitor emerging risks, analyze trends, and collaborate with risk owners on mitigation strategies.
  4. Assess project success likelihoods, linking risk and uncertainty to project tasks.
  5. Lead the project team in risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring.
  6. Share knowledge of risks and opportunities across portfolios to promote lessons learned.
  7. Create custom risk reports for various organizational levels, including executive management.
  8. Develop training materials and conduct risk management education sessions.
  9. Coordinate with IT to resolve software issues and ensure data integrity.
  10. Develop project schedules to meet deliverables and assist in preparing executive presentations.
  11. Maintain meeting records, reports, and related materials for risk management tools.
  12. Manage medium-sized projects alongside risk management duties.
  13. Apply analytical skills to identify issues, interpret data, and communicate recommendations clearly.
  14. Multitask effectively and meet deadlines consistently.
  15. Understand construction management fundamentals, scheduling, cost estimating, and project controls.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
  2. 20+ years of experience in risk management.
  3. Leadership and management skills.
  4. Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to work in teams, follow instructions, and operate effectively under time constraints.
  6. High-level understanding of risk management in complex environments, preferably within the KSA sector.
  7. Ability to work in a matrix organization, influence senior management, and negotiate effectively.
  8. Strong organizational skills and business judgment.
