General Summary

The Senior Manager Operational Interface will oversee and manage interface‑related activities across the Project and mobility modes, ensuring seamless technical coordination between multiple stakeholders, disciplines, and contractors. The role reports to the Interface Director and requires a highly technical interface manager with extensive transport integration experience. The role is critical to ensuring the successful integration of design, construction, and operational elements of each transport project within Qiddiya city. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical interface and integration management. The role will commence in the planning and design period; knowledge of the requirements and processes required to plan and implement subsystem, system integration testing and T&T across multiple mobility modes is essential. The candidate must have exceptional communication skills and the ability to navigate complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement an interface management strategy, processes and requirements to ensure effective design, procurement and construction of the project.
  • Manage stakeholders, including contractors, consultants and internal teams.
  • Identify, document and resolve interface issues across design, construction and operational phases.
  • Maintain a comprehensive interface register to track and manage all interface points.
  • Act as the point of contact for interface‑related matters, facilitating communication between various project teams and external stakeholders.
  • Organise and lead interface workshops, meetings and reviews to align all parties on project goals and deliverables.
  • Identify potential interface risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise project delays and cost overruns.
  • Monitor and report on interface‑related risks, issues and progress to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with design and construction teams to ensure technical compatibility and alignment across all project components.
  • Provide expert guidance on interface requirements, standards and best practices.
  • Prepare regular reports on interface management activities, highlighting key achievements, challenges and recommendations.
  • Ensure all interface agreements and documentation are maintained and updated throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) in Engineering, Project Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in interface and integration management, stakeholder leadership, community engagement or related fields, preferably in transport or large infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience advising senior leaders while working on complex, multi‑disciplinary projects, preferably in the Middle East or GCC region.
  • Strong working knowledge of Saudi Arabian regulatory/government frameworks and Vision 2030 priorities.
