A leading company in the hospitality sector seeks a Project Manager for Marine and Coastal Engineering to manage key projects. The role requires a strong technical background and leadership skills to enhance project outcomes while ensuring compliance with environmental and quality standards.
Job Purpose
To manage projects and/or programs related to marine and coastal engineering by supervising the integration of activities with other disciplines, enhancing design value engineering and optioneering, managing engineering risks through various design stages, monitoring project execution and quality, liaising with stakeholders, and reviewing design deliverables to ensure alignment with RSG's standards of quality and environmental responsibility.
Job Responsibilities - Leadership and Technical
• Build and lead an integrated design process, setting design values and objectives, managing performance, and providing ongoing feedback.
• Assist in monitoring and evaluating design development and estimated costs, identifying performance issues and improvement opportunities.
• Implement the strategic agenda for marine and coastal engineering to align with RSG’s vision and mission.
• Oversee and ensure feedback on documentation at all project stages, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Coordinate design phases across disciplines, ensuring timely and effective progress.
• Monitor project progress to maintain design integrity throughout the lifecycle.
• Follow policies, processes, and standards to ensure controlled and consistent work.
• Prepare accurate reports and MIS statements as required.
• Apply safety, quality, and environmental policies to ensure compliance and high standards.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, considering international best practices.
Stakeholders - Internal
Senior management, project teams, environmental teams, procurement, and various project delivery functions including project directors, construction, master planning, architecture, MEP, landscape, fire and safety, planning, and infrastructure.
Job Requirements - Qualification & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
• 10-12 years of relevant marine or coastal engineering experience, with at least 4 years in a managerial role

• Strong technical knowledge in marine/coastal engineering design, including quay walls, marinas, breakwaters, revetments, decks, beaches, and maintenance facilities.
