A leading company in the investment sector is seeking a Finance Technology Leader to drive innovative solutions and manage high-impact projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in finance and technology, with a strong background in change management and project delivery. This role requires collaboration with senior stakeholders to ensure compliance and promote continuous improvement in financial processes.
Develop and execute comprehensive technology solutions across Finance by collaborating with the business to deliver tangible benefits.
Support existing IT initiatives impacting Finance, such as SAP rollouts, across functional areas.
Identify, evaluate, and implement innovative technologies (e.g., RPA, AI, cloud solutions) to streamline and automate financial processes.
Lead high-impact finance technology projects, managing budgets, resources, and timelines.
Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
Promote and oversee the standardization and governance of financial data across systems to enable accurate reporting and analytics.
Implement advanced reporting tools and dashboards for real-time financial insights and decision-making.
Lead change management initiatives to facilitate smooth adoption of new technologies and processes.
Engage and influence senior stakeholders to secure buy-in for technology initiatives and foster a culture of innovation.
Ensure finance technology solutions comply with regulatory, security, and compliance standards.
Implement robust system controls with relevant teams to mitigate risks and support audit readiness.
Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance systems and processes.
Benchmark against industry best practices to maintain cutting-edge finance technology capabilities.
Lead the selection, negotiation, and management of technology vendors and service providers.
Ensure vendors meet performance expectations and service level agreements (SLAs).
Support the growth, development, and support of the Finance transformation team and wider Finance function.
Minimum requirements include professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, ACA) or at least 12 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting.
Relevant IT qualifications and/or certifications (e.g., SAP certification, degree in computer science, etc.).
Project management experience/certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile) demonstrating knowledge of project methodologies.
Proven experience in managing change and implementing large-scale transformation projects.
