Senior Manager - Facilities (Railway Project)
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager - Facilities to join a major railway infrastructure project in Saudi Arabia. This leadership role will oversee facilities management, maintenance, and technical supervision across multiple depots and maintenance yards along the railway alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead depot maintenance activities for one or more maintenance yards along the railway corridor.

• Manage and prepare tender documentation for Design & Build contracts, including writing technical specifications.

• Coordinate and lead interactions with design consultants during the design and tender phases.

• Provide programme management supervision to engineering teams during construction supervision.

• Support ongoing design development and manage the tender process for contractors.

• Oversee operational and maintenance activities related to track works, civil works, facilities management, railway stock maintenance, and wayside maintenance facilities.

• Supervise yards associated with signalling and telecommunications installations along the railway line.

• Ensure effective "over-the-shoulder" supervision and compliance with technical requirements throughout project phases.

Experience & Skills Required:

• Minimum 20 years of overall experience in the railway industry.

• At least 15 years of hands-on experience in conventional, mainline, high-speed, or freight rail projects. Please note - Metro and Light Rail Transit (LRT) experience will not be considered.

• Extensive experience in facilities management and maintenance on large railway infrastructure projects.

• Proven ability to manage complex tender processes and prepare technical specifications.

• Strong programme management skills with experience supervising engineering teams.

• Familiarity with Design & Build contracts and working alongside lead design consultants.

• Knowledge of O&M practices related to depots, track works, signalling, and telecom infrastructure.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
