Working as part of a unified organization to be accountable for the successful delivery of Electrical Engineering from a design and construction perspective within THE LINE region.
THE LINE region includes various projects over 9,500 km², such as the initial Hidden Marina Mirror Line phase 1 modules, the Landscapes of THE LINE, three 'special projects,' and the NEOM International Airport (NIA).
Requirements Summary:
Candidates should have experience with Electrical Engineering from both consultant and client perspectives, familiarity with the approvals process in KSA is an asset. Experience with high-rise, complex iconic projects with top architectural firms, SBC and/or US codes and standards, process mapping, and data analysis tools is preferred. Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, negotiation skills, and leadership qualities are essential.
Role Competencies & Activities
The Senior Manager – Electrical Engineering will be responsible for:
Key Accountabilities:
- Delivering the Electrical Engineering Strategy, Design, and Construction scope for THE LINE, supporting project goals for budget, schedule, quality, and sustainability.
- Leading a team supporting the LINE Design Project Engineering Management teams and overseeing procurement and project management activities.
- Collaborating with THE LINE Design to set electrical engineering strategies.
- Ensuring the successful delivery of electrical systems across regional assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing comprehensive electrical engineering strategies aligned with the LINE delivery plan.
- Creating implementation plans considering project-specific requirements, timelines, and budgets.
- Reviewing existing studies, developing additional projects, sourcing opportunities, evaluating technologies, and establishing industry partnerships.
- Fostering innovation, continuous learning, and excellence within the team.
- Monitoring KPIs and reporting progress to leadership, leveraging latest trends and advancements in electrical engineering.
Experience & Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Minimum 20 years in Electrical Engineering and related fields.
- Proven stakeholder relationship management skills.
- Strong strategic, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s preferred.
- Relevant professional memberships or accreditation.
