Job description

Qiddiya Investment Company is leading the way in developing an extraordinary entertainment and leisure destination in Saudi Arabia, and we are seeking a Senior Manager - Construction Risk to join our strategic team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with construction projects, ensuring that they align with the company's objectives and operational standards.

Your expertise will help shape our risk management strategies and protocols across multiple projects, promoting a culture of risk-aware decision-making at all levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement the Qiddiya project risk management framework and seek continuous improvement.
  • Implement Programme and Project(s) risk management plans and produce Programme and Project Risk Register(s).
  • Implement the necessary training and provide support to project teams and partners.
  • Apply an understanding of financial instruments, contract mechanisms and insurance to mitigate risk.
  • Provide ad hoc advice on Risk, Issues and their mitigations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Law, Project Management or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in risk management, including significant experience in development or large-scale projects.
  • Experience in the use of Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) tools for the analysis of cost estimates and schedules.
  • Experience on development / infrastructure projects of 1 billion SAR - 10 billion SAR+ in a Project Controls or Program Management Office (PMO) role.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Proven track record working in collaboration with project directors and teams to develop risk registers and management plans using facilitated risk workshops and other methods.
  • Membership or certification from a risk professional organization or project management organization.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of principles of contingency management.
