POSITION: SENIOR MANAGER - BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (BASED IN RIYADH, KSA)

DXB LIVE is the arm of service and management of integrated events at the Dubai World Trade Center, with creative, technical and operational capacities it has to establish all types of events in the highest level, this includes exhibitions, conferences, festivals, recreational events, national events, major business events, and high-end and private weddings. WHAT'S THE ROLE

We are seeking a Senior Manager Business Development to be based in Riyadh, KSA. This role is responsible for driving revenue opportunities and securing new business for the company, with a strong focus on marketing and contract negotiations within the events sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Acting as the primary point of contact, the Senior Business Development Manager will oversee projects from award through to successful execution, ensuring strategic growth and long-term client relationships.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE

  1. Market the Events Seasons in Saudi Arabia, with a primary focus on Tier 1 and Tier 2 events in Riyadh, by engaging with prospective clients through meetings, networking, and proactive outreach.
  2. Collaborate with the commercial team to source, review, and shortlist relevant business opportunities, ensuring regular sales reporting per sector and target event.
  3. Ensure all sales opportunities are accurately logged in the CRM system, adhering to internal governance processes to qualify leads effectively.
  4. Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure bids are submitted on time, within budget, and to the highest standards expected by DXB LIVE.
  5. Act as the primary liaison between the client and internal teams, ensuring seamless project execution and delivery that meets or exceeds client expectations.
  6. Maintain a healthy sales pipeline, ensuring opportunities consistently amount to five times the budget target to manage conversion probabilities.
  7. Keep all KSA business portals up to date and actively managed to maximise opportunities.
  8. Remain flexible and adaptable, providing support to other departments when required.
  9. Consistently meet quarterly sales and business development targets as set by management.
  10. Represent the company with professionalism and integrity, maintaining high standards in all communications, meetings, and personal presentation. Act as a brand ambassador at all times.

WHAT YOU NEED IS:

  1. A Bachelor’s degree is essential.
  2. A minimum of four years experience in event sales within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with a proven track record of business development and client acquisition.
  3. Demonstrated ability to provide detailed sales reporting, including tracking sales activities and performance metrics.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting, as well as Microsoft PowerPoint for creating compelling presentations.
  5. Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
