Reporting to: Director Marketing Strategy & Campaigns

Job Purpose:We are seeking a seasoned B2B Marketing and Events professional to spearhead the development, planning, and execution of B2B events like our inaugural New Global Sport Conference (NGSC). This role focuses on delivering a premier conference experience that connects industry leaders, enhances our brand’s reputation, and establishes a strategic platform for networking and thought leadership in the global sports arenas. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset and a proven track record of planning and executing successful B2B events.

Duties and Responsibilities

Plan, manage, and execute high-profile B2B events like the NGSC.

Develop and implement an overarching event strategy, aligning with company goals, target audience needs, and the latest industry trends in sports and technology.

Develop and implement comprehensive B2B marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and generate leads.

Create a comprehensive project plan detailing budgets, timelines, vendor partnerships, and resource allocation to achieve event objectives.

Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners, sponsors, and key industry stakeholders.

Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to build marketing strategies and identify growth opportunities.

Work closely with the content, digital marketing, and PR teams to ensure cohesive and effective marketing communications.

Manage the B2B marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximum ROI.

Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and events, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and tactics.

Lead an external team of agencies, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Conduct a thorough post-event analysis, including data collection, attendee feedback, and lessons learned, to measure event success and identify areas for improvement.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, media, or equivalent.

8+ years of extensive experience in B2B event management and marketing

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Proven experience in developing and executing large-scale B2B conferences.

Strong understanding of B2B marketing principles and best practices.

Exceptional project and budget management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Experience in managing external agencies

Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and the ability to develop innovative marketing solutions.

Proficiency in marketing analytics and the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.

Prior esports industry experience is preferred

Very good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Very good written and verbal communication skills in English.
